NACHMO San Diego

In the Winter of 2018 I produced a NACHMO cross-community showcase of new dance works by undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and local professionals for an audience of both dance leaders and university members.

NACHMO (National Choreography Month) is an annual challenge during the month of January that spurs dancers, choreographers, and movement enthusiasts to choreograph new work by providing a deadline, a community of peers, and opportunities to share their new work with the public. We are your choreographic kick in the pants! I co-founded NACHMO in NYC in 2009 with Sharyn Korey and every season hundreds of dancers participate internationally in creating one new work in January's 31 days.

This showing is supported by the San Diego State University Division of Dance, and managed by Technical Supervisor Krista Nelson.
